SCOTT, Marjorie L. “Margie”

SCOTT, Marjorie L. “Margie”

Marjorie Lou “Margie” SCOTT (Hanna), age 95, passed away November 26, 2022.

Margie was the daughter of Irene (Burcher) and Herb Hanna. Margie is survived by three sons: Tim Scott and wife Jean, Tom Scott and Anne, and Jay Scott and wife Jodi; grandchildren: Jeff Scott, Brian Scott and wife Cassandra, Ryan Scott and wife Cheryl, Kevin Scott and wife Katie, Hannah Scott Carraway and husband James, Jimmy Scott and wife Sarah, Johnny Scott, Michael Scott and Brooklyn, Ashton Strong and husband Jeff, and Weston Wilcox and wife Katy; great-grandchildren: Isaac, Elise, Camden, Rylee, Theo, Lucy, Rylee, Logan, and an abundance of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim Scott, sister Jean Love, and daughter-in-law Patty Scott.

Margie was very active in her church, Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church, singing in the choir until relocating to Rockwall, Texas, in 2015. She “learned” to like a little spicy salsa while still missing her friends and snow of Ohio. She had the best sense of humor and could make anyone laugh instantly with one of her witty remarks. Blessed beyond measure with a loving family, she answered to Motts, Mom, Hello Mother, Aunt Marge, Grandma Scott, and GiGi. Margie enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends, and her presence will be greatly missed by them all. Her foundation of faith in the Lord remained until her last breath.

Services will be held at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH, at a later date.

I’ll miss Mrs Scott forever. She always could make you laugh even when correcting you. Although Jay always tried to get me to call her Margie she will always be Mrs Scott. That’s what I always have and will know her as. She will be missed. Mike Nato
